At this year’s World MMA Awards, UFC Octagon girl Jhenny Andrade pulled off a surprising win by topping Arianny Celeste for the Ringcard of the Year award.
Celeste had won the award seven of the last eight years, while Brittney Palmer captured the other two crowns.
In 2017, there was a new kid on the block stealing away all of the attention and it was none other than Andrade, who is a 29-year-old native of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Andrade made her UFC debut at UFC 163 in 2012, an event between Jose Aldo and “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung.
Since then, Andrade has become a bit of a staple in the UFC and at official appearances across the globe.
