The Kentucky football team’s official Twitter account is learning that there are some things you just shouldn’t share.
On Tuesday, the Wildcats tweeted out a photo of the rings that members of the team received for their efforts during the 2017 college football season.
It’s all fine and dandy with the Governors Cup being represented for the Wildcats’ big win over rival Louisville, but the opposite side of the ring is what raised some eyebrows.
The rings feature the Taxslayer Bowl logo — which Kentucky lost in blowout fashion.

Kentucky lost the Taxslayer Bowl, 33-18, and since they presented the image as “bowl rings,” Twitter immediately began trolling the Wildcats over the fact.
I see they're Gold. Fantastic choice to commemorate this milestone event forever! #TogetherWeSwarm #GTGoldOut @GeorgiaTechFB @GeorgiaTech pic.twitter.com/E3j2uoVJj3

Even ESPN’s Danny Kanell couldn’t resist taking a shot.

That’s most likely not how Kentucky expected the reaction to be, but the Internet can be a cruel, cruel place.
Sorry Wildcats, that’s another…
