Detroit Lions punter Sam Martin is joining the numerous athletes who are doing their part to help those impacted by Hurricane Harvey over the past week.
Martin is promoting a truck drive that iwll be held in Troy, Michigan to gather supplies for Hurricane Harvey relief.
For his part, Martin pledged six pounds of dog food for every retweet he received on a video message on social media. Martin planned to donate up to $10,000 of dog food to the truck drive, which ends up being a whopping 25,000 pounds.
The truck drive will take place on Saturday, Sept. 2.
