Here’s How Hard Sam Darnold Can Throw A Football

Sam Darnold is one of the top quarterbacks in the 2018 NFL Draft class and a potential No. 1 overall. The former USC signal-caller is a well-rounded passer who will likely be off the draft board within the first three picks. There is no denying Darnold has an NFL arm, and the science proves it.

Enter┬áJohn Brenkus and Trent Dilfer, who are teaming up for a new show named “Soul and Science” that will debut on the NFL Network on April 18.

The show features Dilfer, an ESPN football analyst and Super Bowl-winning NFL quarterback, discussing the game of football with draft prospects who will appear on the show.

Brenkus, meanwhile, is known for his show “Sports Science,” which examined the physics and biomechanics behind various athletic feats.

First up on the show is Darnold, and a promo was released this week that shows just how fast the quarterback can throw the ball and how long it takes the football to travel 30 yards from the beginning of his release until it reaches the target.

It’s hard not to be impressed by that and it’s easy to see why Darnold is considered one of the best players available when the draft kicks off April 26-28 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

And if you believe the latest draft rumors, Darnold won’t be waiting long to hear his name called because he will either land with the Cleveland Browns or New York Giants.
