Maria Taylor has worn many hats during her time at ESPN, but the Worldwide Leader’s rising star really found her home with the network after being named a reporter for ESPN’s flagship college football pregame show College GameDay Built by Home Depot and ABC Saturday Night Football in 2017.
She had previously worked on the SEC Network’s pregame show SEC Nation and hosted as College Football Live, Saturday Primetime, NCAA Women’s Basketball Selection Show, NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament Preview Show, and much more.
Taylor began her sportscasting career as a reporter and host for IMG College while at the University of Georgia, where she played volleyball and basketball for the Bulldogs, earning All-SEC volleyball honors three times.
Taylor holds a degree in broadcast news and a Master of Business Administration from the University.
Ahead of the 2018 college football season, Taylor signed a new multi-year deal to remain at ESPN for the coming years.
