Video: Notre Dame blocks Texas extra point to tie game

There is absolute chaos in Austin. Sunday night’s game between the No. 10 Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Texas Longhorns got turned on its head in a matter of ten seconds.

After Texas running back D’Onta Foreman scampered 19 yards for the go-ahead score late in the fourth quarter, it appeared as though the Longhorns were poised to take the lead. The Fighting Irish, however, had completely different plans.

Trent Domingue’s extra point attempt was blocked by Notre Dame and returned all the way to the endzone.

The result was two points for the Fighting Irish and a tie ball game at 37 points.

Check out the insanity below:

Notre Dame and Texas remain tied with less than two minutes remaining. It is the Longhorns’ ball.
