Clemson’s Christian Wilkins gave Ohio State’s Curtis Samuel an oil check

The Clemson defense took “illegal touching” to a whole new level on Saturday night in the Fiesta Bowl against Ohio State.

Late in the first quarter, Buckeyes running back Curtis Samuel was taken to the turf and surrounded by three Clemson defenders. Unfortunately for Samuel, Christian Wilkins of the Tigers decided to lean over and grab his buttocks before digging in for an oil check.

What in the world was going on here? And how did the refs miss it?

While Pac-12 officials may have missed Wilkins giving Samuel a free prostate exam, you have to imagine the play will be reviewed by the ACC now that the clip is going viral.

Clemson is currently blowing out Ohio State, 24-0, with the fourth quarter underway.

It really has been an awful night to be a Buckeye.
