The 2017 NFL Draft is in the books and Mr. Irrelevant has been named.
With the No. 253 overall pick in this year’s draft, the Denver Broncos selected Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly, the nephew of Hall of Fame signal-caller Jim Kelly.
Kelly is an incredibly talented quarterback, but his off-field issues led to a fall.
As Mr. Irrelevant, Kelly and his family will enjoy “Irrelevant Week” in Newport Beach, Calif. Mr. Irrelevant participates in a golf tournament, regatta, a roast and the presentation of the Lowsman Trophy.
Last season, Mr. Irrelevant was Southern Miss cornerback Kalan Reed, who was selected by the Tennessee Titans.
