After an epic conclusion to the college football season in Monday night’s national championship, the Associated Press released final AP Top 25 poll of season.
As you would expect, the Alabama Crimson Tide sit as the No. 1 team in the nation with 57 first-place votes after edging out the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
Rounding out the top five is the Oklahoma Sooners, Clemson Tigers and Ohio State Buckeyes.
Just outside of the top five is the UCF Knights, the only FBS team to finish the 2017 college football season with an undefeated record. The Knights capped off their unbeaten campaign with a win over Auburn in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. Despite not receiving much respect from the pollsters all season long, UCF received four first-place votes in the final AP Top 25 poll.
