Cardale Jones remembers infamous ‘playing school’ tweet

Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Cardale Jones used “Throwback Thursday” to remember an unfortunate tweet made a few years ago.

Chances are you remember the infamous moment and you have probably heard your fair share of fans throwing jokes Cardale Jones’ way because of what he posted on social media in October of 2012.

“Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL? we ain’t come here to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS,” Jones wrote.

Well, now Jones is showing a sense of maturity as he looked back on the moment and decided to laugh it all off.

#TBT still can't believe I tweeted something as stupid as this but hey, we live and we learn, after your religion/ pic.twitter.com/mqCLK2uEHw

Despite going on to have a breakout year that ended with the Ohio State Buckeyes winning the inaugural College Football Playoff, Jones decided to return to school for another year.

Now, Jones will get to play school for one more year while he attempts to lead the Buckeyes to a successful title defense.
