Northern Arizona is the latest stop on the campus tour for former Texas Longhorns and Arizona Wildcats quarterback Connor Brewer.
Brewer, a former four-star recruit at Texas who was the No. 5 overall player in the state of Arizona during his high school days, announced his decision on social media Thursday.
“After these wild few years of college, I have officially decided that my last stop will be at Northern Arizona University,” Brewer wrote on Instagram. “I will pursue my graduate degree and have two more years of football to play. I am excited to get on the field again and to finally show people what I am capable of.”
Brewer will be able to play at Northern Arizona immediately, with two years of eligibility remaining.
In 2013, Brewer sat out for the entire season after transferring to the Arizona Wildcats because of NCAA transfer rules. Unfortunately for Brewer, he was then buried on the depth chart in 2014.
Now, Connor Brewer will look to finish off his career strong with the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks.
