Colorado to unveil new uniforms May 1

The Colorado Buffaloes will be joining a number of college football teams around the nation with new uniforms for the upcoming season. The school announced new uniforms will be unveiled during a special event on May 1.

The uniform unveiling will take place at Folsom Field, with head coach Mike MacIntyre showing off the new uniforms at approximately 4:30 p.m.

Colorado’s new unis will be unveiled during a Field Day for CU students.

According to the press release, “Field Day activities will include competitive stations like the 40-yard dash, vertical jump, longest field goal and more with winners for both male and female students for each station. Football skills stations include quarterback, running back, wide receiver and tackle drills. Early arriving students will receive an exclusive t-shirt with an outline of Folsom Field along with free food.”

Free t-shirts, free food and new uniforms? It seems like the CU Field Day will be an exciting event.

Considering the Field Day comes the week before finals, we have a feeling plenty of Colorado students will be excited to kick back and relax while getting excited about the upcoming football season and the new CU look.
