It hasn’t taken very long for Michigan Wolverines head football coach Jim Harbaugh to make himself one of the most beloved men in Ann Arbor. Since accepting the job, Harbaugh has been spotted around campus and has been hanging around studenst on multiple occassions.

The latest Harbaugh sighting on campus came late Thursday night, when he appeared at a late-night practice for the university’s ultimate frisbee team.

“We were just warming up and he just kind of showed up,” team captain Eli Leonard told ESPN.com. “He was just there alone. It was pretty eerie at the beginning.

“We started to get a little energized and nervous, too.”

Leonard went on to say that Harbaugh stayed for nearly two hours and even sang the Michigan fight song with the players. Before leaving, Harbaugh snapped some photos with the team.

It is great to see Jim Harbaugh embracing the university and doing everything he can to make everyone feel involved in the Wolverines family.

When the Michigan football team takes the field, you can expect to see the student body coming out to show support.
