Louisville Steals Home, Walks Off Against Wake Forest

Playing against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, Louisville won the game in, quite possibly, the most unique way possible: stealing home.

The hero of the moment was outfielder Corey Ray, who initially reached base on an intentional walk before advancing via a single and then a wild pitch, setting him up for the epic swipe.

Thanks to a phenomenal jump and perfectly timed head-first slide, he was safe at the plate and his team walked off with the victory.

It doesn’t get much better or more exciting than that.

Louisville has gone 19-2 in conference play this season and given the exciting finish to this game, they will definitely be a team to watch once the College World Series rolls around.
