The Texas Longhorns held their annual spring game on Saturday and a special guest decided to show up on the sidelines. That gues was none other than new head basketball coach Shaka Smart.
Smart joined the Longhorns after a successful run with the VCU Rams and the Texas faithful are hoping he can rejuvenate their basketball program.
Whether Smart will have success remains to be seen, but he certainly will have the fans behind him.
During Saturday’s spring game, Shaka Smart roamed the sidelines, stood by football coach Charlie Strong and even took the time out to take some photos with his new fans.

Shaka Smart also flexed his broadcasting muscles on set for the Longhorn Network.
