Cal football recruiter arrested for allegedly soliciting prostitute

There is a black eye for the Pac-12 and California Golden Bears, following news that one of Cal’s top football recruiters has been cited following an arrest earlier this month for soliciting a prostitute.

According to the San Jose Mercury News, Pierre Ingram, who is the recruiting coordinator and wide receivers coach at Cal, was arrested April 16.

The arrest came as part of a prostitution sting.

Ingram was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor solicitation of a lewd act. Ingram was then cited and booked for his offense and must return for a court appearance next month.

The report states Ingram “was arrested after he allegedly solicited an undercover officer online and then showed up at the Motel 6 on Embarcadero.”

Cal has yet to comment on the situation.
