Bobby Bowden apologizes for Jameis Winston comments

Bobby Bowden upset many Florida State Seminoles fans with his comments that former quarterback Jameis Winston was “an embarrassment to the university.”

Since then, Bowden tried to clear up his comments, but now he has decided to apologize.

During an appearance on The Dan Le Batard Show, Bowden discussed the comments made to Paul Finebaum and he claimed that he feels awful about the way the comments came out.

Wow. Bobby on @LeBatardShow right now. Said Finebaum ambushed him with that question. Said he wasn't prepared for it. Said he feels bad.
