Terrapins Add on Second Commit this Weekend

The battle for the future of the Big Ten has just gotten a whole lot more exciting over the last few days. Right now, it would appear that the Michigan State Spartans are leading the race for the brass ring in 2016, but another fairly new team to the fray is making a case for their place at the top.

After landing four star quarterback Dwayne Haskins Jr in a surprising move, the Maryland Terrapins have received a commit from the other side of the ball. According to CSN Baltimore, defensive tackle Jeffery Pooler laid down his commitment to the Terps less than 24 hours after Haskins.

Pooler initially made the announcement via Twitter.

The 6’4″ 272 pound lineman will add a spark to the front seven for Maryland come 2016. Maryland head coach Randy Edsall expressed his excitement on Twitter after the announcement this morning.
