Minnesota State Player Wins Big on The Price is Right

I think it is everyone’s dream of hearing your name followed by the famous “COME ON DOWN!” Don’t lie. Even if you don’t watch the show, you know what The Price is Right is and you’re jealous of anyone who wins on the show. Now, everyone can be jealous of Minnesota State defensive lineman Jeffrey Raymond after his victory on the daily show.

According to College Football Talk, Raymond appeared on the show recently and got on a roll. He appeared in the show’s finale, the Showcase Showdown, and laid down a bid of $22,000.

The bid was in honor of teammate Isaac Kolstad who was involved in a fight that left him fighting for his life. How is that for a feelgood story? As luck would have it, Raymond won his showcase. The Mavericks tweeted their excitement for Raymond.

Raymond ended up walking away with trips to New York City and Paris and a private, top of the line cooking class. It looks like we know who will be doing the pregame meal in the fall.
