Remember the sophomore guard who became a sensation during the Duke Blue Devils’ national title run in March? Yeah, his name is Grayson Allen. He was one of the last guys you’d think would step up for a top tier program like Duke, but he sure did.
Well, it seems like he has won another championship. This kid doesn’t know how to lose!
According to College Basketball Talk, Allen along with teammates Jon Scheyer, Brian Zoubek, and Sean Dockery coached their team to a championship victory at the annual K Academy.
K Academy is an annual fantasy basketball camp that the university hosts every summer. Not only did the team win the trophy, they did it in style.
What a great way for these fans to win the game. And of course they celebrated like the middle aged, YMCA pickup basketball stars they are. “Coach” Allen even got the chance to cut down the nets again.
Allen is still just a sophomore, but his stock is rising. After scoring sixteen points in the national championship game against Wisconsin, you have to ask. What CAN’T this kid do?
