Jim Harbaugh played’ Hail to the Victors’ at Alabama camp

You know, there is really only coach ballsy enough to play a Big 10 school’s fight song right over a loud speaker right in the heart of SEC Country. That coach is Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh and he did just that at the team’s satellite camp in Prattville, Alabama on Friday.

According to College Spun, Harbaugh instructed someone to play “Hail to the Victors”, the Wolverines’ fight song, as he made his way to the field. Okay, two things. 1. As any Alabamian would say “Them’s fighting words.” and 2. Is Harbaugh’s ego really that big that he has to stroke it by having his own entrance music?

For those of you who don’t know what the Michigan fight song sounds like, here you go.

The last time the Wolverines met the Alabama Crimson Tide on the gridiron, the latter team won and won handily, beating them 41-14 in the opening game of the 2012 season. That was also during the awful Brady Hoke years, so maybe Harbaugh is on to something. Alienate an entire region of the country and maybe you can win some games. Yeah, good luck coach.
