Ohio State Buckeyes running back Ezekiel Elliott burst onto the scene in 2014 as one of the top running backs in the nation and now he enters 2015 as the Heisman Trophy favorite.
Elliott, who is entering his junior year, has over 2,000 rushing yards in his Buckeyes career. However, an incredible 1,878 of those yards came during his sophomore campaign as he helped to lead Ohio State to a national championship.
The St. Louis native found his way to Ohio State as a four-star recruit out of John Burroughs School in Missouri where he was a three-sport athlete.
As it turns out, Elliott had such an interesting rise to stardom that it appears he could be the focus of an upcoming “E:60” documentary on ESPN. The following tweet surfaced over the weekend to give those rumors some life.
ESPN has yet to comment on a potential E:60 featuring Elliott, but if the documentary does come to fruition it will be something that college football fans will not want to miss.
