Photo: North Carolina shows off new patches on jerseys

|

It is always exciting to get updates on uniforms. No matter if you’re a fast food employee, professional wrestler or a college football team, you are always excited to see some kind of change — even if the change is just as minimal as a new patch around the collar of the jersey.

The North Carolina Tar Heels were proud to show off the new patches they applied to their jerseys and they look pretty sweet, too.

North Carolina showed off New ACC patches the team added on their jerseys via Twitter on Tuesday morning.

The patches are additions that all teams in the conference have, but the Tar Heels were the first to show them off. I have to say that color really works on the jerseys.

While we are not talking about any major updates like introducing wild variations of the jersey colors or adding giant ram horns to the shoulders a la the Oregon Ducks, it is still a cool new change. It doesn’t mean that it will help the Tar Heels play any better, but fans can hope, right?
