Urban Meyer hypes Cleveland fans up at NBA Finals game

I don’t know how he does it, but Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer somehow seems to get involved in any and everything that is centered around sports in the Buckeye State. This time, Meyer showed Cleveland Cavalier fans how to get excited for the home team.

Meyer attended Game 3 of the NBA Finals in Cleveland Tuesday night, and during halftime the three-time national champion coach led the crowd in a roaring “O-H-I-O” chant.

Oh Cleveland, you guys never seem to disappoint.

Whether your team is playing for a NBA championship or sucking all over the place like the Browns on Sunday, you guys still cheer for your teams. Maybe Meyer needs to make a trip over to Paul Brown Stadium this season and inject some life into that franchise.

It worked for the Cavs. They won 96-91 last night and are now two wins away from their first NBA title and the city’s first major championship since the Browns’ NFL title in 1964, three years before the first Super Bowl took place.
