Usually when a college football coach puts his house up for sale, it is after he announced getting a new job at a new school somewhere. That is not the case with USC head coach Steve Sarkisian. I honestly don’t know why he put his $9.5 million home on the market, but I am sure glad I get to see pictures of it.
According to CBS Eye on College Football, Sarkisian is selling his home that he bought just last year. CBS assured Trojan fans that he wasn’t going anywhere, but the sale of his home is due to the coach being in the process of getting a divorce.
The Los Angeles Times reported Tuesday that the coach’s Rolling Hills home would be selling for $1.5 million over face value.
“Set on 5.21 acres,” the Times description reads, “the gated estate is accessed by a stone driveway and includes a swimming pool with a spa, a tennis court, a 2,200-gallon koi pond, a putting green and a 500-tree fruit orchard.” The home contains a mere five bedrooms and eight bathrooms, however.
Trojan fans, I know some of you probably have the money to go out and buy this home. So why not do so and turn it into one of the biggest USC party pads Los Angeles has ever seen? I know I would!
