The Duke Blue Devils had an emotional journey to their fifth national championship last season. It was truly a memorable run and the university released a video Thursday morning, highlighting some of the biggest moments from the 2014-15 season.
In a video shared by College Basketball Talk, you see all the great moments that the Blue Devils experienced this season. From beating Michigan State, the team they faced in the Final Four months later, to getting a big win over then number two Wisconsin, the same team they beat for the National Championship, to Coach K’s 1000th win as a college basketball coach, it was truly a remarkable season.
Why does that background music sound like something out of “Friday Night Lights”? Anyway, the Blue Devils had an amazing season and they are reloading for a second. Grayson Allen, who was a huge part of the team’s win in the national title game, returns along with Amile Jefferson and Matt Jones. The team also has the number one recruiting class for the 2015-16 season that is led by Luke Kennard and Derryck Thornton.
Hopefully we get another video like this for the Blue Devils this time next year.
