I have to say, I used to think the Georgia/Florida rivalry was the biggest rivalry in all of college football. That may be a bit biased since I live in the south, just hours north of where the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party takes place every year. However, since I began writing for this website, I have learned very quickly that the Ohio State/Michigan rivalry is much bigger than I believed it to be.
One Buckeyes fan proved that when he wore his team’s shirt to a quarterback camp. At Michigan. Hosted by Jim Harbaugh.
In a photo shared by College Spun, an unnamed Ohio State fan, which is probably for the sake of the kid’s safety, wore a black shirt with a big block letter “O” on the chest of the shirt.
That usually isn’t a problem except for he was at a quarterback camp being hosted by Harbaugh and he was in the middle of the Wolverines’ practice facility when someone snapped the picture.
If you are a high school quarterback and you don’t want to get recruited by your team’s biggest rival, this is the perfect way to get your named eviscerated from the latter team’s recruiting board.
Let’s just hope that Michigan doesn’t turn out to be a last resort for this kid, because he won’t be welcomed with open arms, that’s for sure.
At least Harbaugh didn’t make the kid do pushups like Urban Meyer.
