Miami DT claims new unis are ‘best jerseys in college football’

Getting new jerseys is always an exciting time. I remember during my junior year of high school, my football team made a drastic change in our jerseys. For years, we had similar colors to North Carolina: light blue and white. Then my coach broke out navy blue and silver jerseys and I was awestruck. It deviated from the traditional colors, but we loved them and accepted the change.

One Miami football player seems to be doing exactly that for the new jerseys they will be wearing this fall.

The Hurricanes are set to unveil their new uniforms provided by Adidas sometime in July. Defensive tackle Izon Pulley must have gotten a sneak peek at the jerseys, because he took to Twitter to brag about the new uniforms.

He could also be basing his claims off of past Adidas designs for college football teams. They have had some pretty hit-or-miss designs in the past. Some of their better designs have been for Notre Dame and Mississippi State’s SnowBowl uniforms.

Some of their more disastrous designs have come in the form of giant “W”s and “M”s on the front of Wisconsin and Michigan’s jerseys.

If Pulley has seen the uniforms and is that confident in the design as to call them the best, then they better live up to it. If not, Adidas may have a lot of explaining to do come July.
