Football is easily the most popular sport in the United States today. Nobody takes their football and football rivalries more seriously than the southern part of the country, especially when it comes to the SEC.
Reddit user eharvey328 seems to know that just as well as the next person, but he decided to step it up a notch and absolutely alienate an entire region of the country. I don’t know if he accomplished that, but he made something pretty amazing in the process.
The Reddit user took the SEC schools and switched their colors to that of their biggest rivals. So, yes that means you can see Florida in red and black or garnet and gold. You can see Alabama in orange and blue or Volunteer orange and white. He even changed Texas A&M’s colors to burnt orange and white.

My personal favorite is LSU’s colors swapped with Ole Miss’s. It actually works pretty despite the tiger on the logo being red. Another favorite of mine is probably the most obscure, but still big, rivalry on the list: Kentucky and Louisville. I have always thought the BBN needed a drastic change and making their colors red and black seems to work for some reason.
I, for one, would have loved to have seen a few more of the more obscure and older rivalries come into play. Years ago LSU and Tulane were huge rivals and fought for the Tiger Rag every year. Seeing Mike the Tiger in green would be kind of funny.
Whatever the case may be, we as SEC football fans, can appreciate the hard work this guy put into to making these sweet mash-ups. If only somebody had the guts to make alternative uniforms like this for just one game. That would be the ultimate intimidation factor.
