From a country music superstar giving him a shoutout to a Miami freshman defensive end calling him out, Notre Dame commit Parker Boudreaux’s name has been all over Twitter this weekend. I think latter of the two may just be asking for trouble when the Hurricanes meet the Irish on the field next season.
According to College Spun, Miami defensive end Scott Patchan called Boudreaux a tool on Twitter. This is referring to the six-foot-four, 295 pound offensive lineman pulling a school bus to reveal his commitment to the Irish earlier this week. I guess Patchan just doesn’t really care if Boudreaux is a monster.

He then proceeded to post an “Anchorman” meme making fun of how fast his tweet got noticed across the internet.

He may think it’s funny now, but the two teams meet next season in late October. If this situation continues to spiral, that could be the most watched game in the history of college football.
I think we need to call Paul Heyman to promote that game in a year. After all, Boudreaux is the Next Big Thing anyway. Maybe former ECW Champion Tazz can commentate the match and he can give his famous line once Boudreaux’s music hits. “Welp, here comes the pain.”
Good luck Scott, you’re going to need it.
