UCLA’s new Adidas uniforms are pretty awesome

Over the weekend, Adidas teased the release of UCLA’s new football uniforms. On Thursday morning, they have finally revealed what the Bruins will be wearing this season, and they are pretty awesome.

College Spun shared photos of the new uniforms and they look a tad bit similar to the Houndstooth pattern that legendary Alabama coach Paul “Bear” Bryant made a staple in Tuscaloosa. Fear not, Bruin fans as it is not that pattern. It is just the pattern that Adidas features on its Primeknit sneakers.

The Bruins haven’t really taken many chances on their uniforms in the past, but this is certainly a step away from the traditional. The Bruins lost quarterback Brett Hundley to the NFL Draft this season, so they may struggle to stay atop the Pac-12 this season.

At least they will look damn good doing it. The Bruins hit the field on September 5 against Virginia.
