The Undertaker is still alive and is still pretty ripped

Over the last five years or so, Mark Calloway, better known in WWE as The Phenom, The Deadman, or simply The Undertaker, has been making an appearance in WWE around the beginning of the year and then opened a program with somebody that he would go on to face at the company’s biggest show of the year, Wrestlemania.

That is the same case this year as The Undertaker has not been seen on WWE television since he defeated Bray Wyatt at Wrestlemania 31 in March earlier this year to bring his record at the show to 22-1.

Every year after he “disappears” people begin to question if his career is over or if he is even still alive. In the “kayfabe” world, when a wrestler dies, people know about it. Remember how quickly the news of Dusty Rhodes’ passing spread? BroBible shared a picture of Taker working out at DeFranco’s Gym in Austin, Texas and he still looks to be in great shape.

Taker, who turned 50 five days prior to Wrestlemania this year, is still showing off that he could possibly have some gas in the tank. Or he could just be blowing off some steam by doing some bicep curls.

Either way, the picture spread across Twitter and people immediately began speculating that he was “training” for his unconfirmed (better yet, not unmentioned) retirement match at Wrestlemania 32 next year. Since WCW legend Sting returned at Survivor Series last November, people have been speculating the “dream match” they have always wanted.

Since Wrestlemania is taking place in the home state of The Undertaker at AT&T Stadium, people have speculated that he would be participating in one final retirement match. Then again, Texas is home to many WWE legends, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels being the other two big names. Does that mean they will have a retirement match as well?

Nothing is confirmed yet, but if we as fans do finally get the match we have been wanting for a decade now, The Undertaker will be ready to go. What about you, Steve Borden?
