Todd Frazier celebrates home run derby win WWE style

Cincinnati Reds third baseman Todd Frazier was in front of a raucous hometown crowd Monday night as he battled Joc Pederson for the 2015 Home Run Derby crown. Frazier fell short of the championship last year when he lost two-time defending champion Yoenis Cespedes. He finally got the chance to lift the trophy last night.

He also celebrated WWE-style with a replica WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt. Cespedes was there to present him with the championship.

Frazier was the first person to win the Derby in the new tournament style format. He took down former winner Prince Fielder in the first round, Josh Donaldson in the second, and then blasted fifteen home runs in the championship round when he took down Pederson.

With as many championship belts that are given out as part of a championship or event win such as this, I am beginning to think that some people don’t like Seth Rollins as the company’s champion. That might just change this Sunday when he takes on Brock Lesnar at WWE Battleground.
