Throwback uniforms are some of the coolest and sometimes strangest uniforms any NFL team could ever wear. Who could forget the bumblebee uniforms the Pittsburgh Steelers re-debuted a few seasons ago?
It seems now that the Green Bay Packers will be bringing back an old jersey from the 1940’s this season.
Fox Sports reported that the Packers would be wearing the throwback navy blue and yellow jerseys on October 18. The Packers host the San Diego Chargers on that day.

If you weren’t alive during the 40’s, like ninety-nine percent of our readers, here is a picture of Packer legend Brett Favre wearing the jersey during a 1994 game. The Packers wore these jerseys as part of the NFL’s 75th anniversary.

Usually, when one team wears throwback jerseys the other team will as well. As a bandwagon Chargers fan from the Ladanian Tomlinson days, I sincerely hope they come out in the powder blues on that day. If only the game was in San Diego.
