Virginia Tech alum DeAngelo Hall visited alma mater

Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall is easily one of the best players to come out of Virginia Tech in a long time. He has had equal success in the NFL in his career. He is now entering his twelfth season in the NFL and he decided to pay a visit to his old stomping grounds.

Tight ends coach Bryan Stiney posted a photo showing Hall posing with and a couple of other former players in Blacksburg on Monday. I’m sure a lot of people were excited to see the former first-round pick of the Atlanta Falcons back on campus.

During his time with the Hokies, Hall recorded 190 tackles, eight interceptions, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. He also returned punts for nearly 900 yards five touchdowns.

That has led to a terrific NFL career where he has recorded forty-three interceptions and five defensive touchdowns with three different NFL teams in eleven seasons. That has resulted in three Pro Bowl appearances for Hall. He also is tied for the single-game record of most interceptions.
