Kentucky seems to have gotten some good news for the 2015 season. It was reported late Friday night that Australian center Isaac Humphries is expected to commit to the Wildcats for the upcoming season.
According to College Basketball Talk, Humphries is likely reclassifying from the class of 2016 to be eligible to play this upcoming season. He was regarded as the thirty-fifth overall prospect for the class of 2016.
He played with and helped lead the Australian team to a silver medal at 2014 FIBA U17 World Championships in Dubai. There, Humphries averaged 18.9 points, 11.6 rebounds, 3.3 blocks and 1.6 assists per game while also shooting 57 percent from the field and 82 percent from the free-throw line in just seven games.
Humphries had transferred to La Lumiere school in Indiana to play through his last season in the United States. Now it seems he will join a 2015 class of Skal Labiessiere and Jamal Murray, both five-star international players.
