Florida commit tweets pictures of offer letters, still a Gator

It must be unsettling for fans to know that one of your top future players is still getting offers from other top-tier programs from around the country. That is exactly how Florida fans must have felt all day yesterday if they looked on Twitter at all.

College Spun shared several pictures that four star cornerback Chauncey Gardner II put on Twitter periodically throughout the day on Saturday. He tweeted out pictures of offer letters that other schools, including Florida’s rivals Georgia and Florida State, sent out to him.

Gardner committed to the Gators in March for the 2016 season, but nothing is official until he signs his Letter of Intent in April next year.

Florida fans must have felt pretty nervous, but Gardner once again reassured fans that he wasn’t going anywhere. He took to Twitter once again Sunday afternoon.

And all Florida fans breathed one collective sigh of relief. You guys aren’t yet out of the water in term of losing Gardner to any of your rivals, but you still have to know that there is a chance you could lose him.

Gator fans should be more focused on the upcoming season as they have a rather tough schedule ahead of them. The season opens up with New Mexico State at home on September 5.
