Video: Ronda Rousey knocks out Bethe Correia at UFC 190

|

Bethe Correia talked a lot of trash leading up to her UFC Bantamweight Championship fight with Ronda Rousey at UFC 190 last night in Brazil. Trash talk usually happens a lot before these big time fights, but Correia took things way too far by saying she hopes Rousey “doesn’t kill herself after she beats her.” That was especially harsh since Rousey’s father actually committed suicide.

Rousey claimed that she wanted to take a long time and teach Correia a lesson in the fight. I guess thirty-four seconds is a lot longer than Rousey’s last fight that only lasted fourteen seconds. That’s all it took before the champ knocked out the challenger.

BroBible shared the brutal knockout of the “hometown hero.” Both women were undefeated entering the fight with Rousey standing at 11-0 and Correia standing at 9-0.

Now, Rousey has a fight with contender Miesha Tate. Rousey has already beaten Tate twice before, but could the third time be the charm? Well, history would say otherwise right now. We will have to wait and see.
