If it wasn’t clear that the Duke Blue Devils were ready to get to work on defending their national championship, they made it abundantly obvious with their newest series focused around the team’s summer workouts. First up on the list? Five-star freshman Brandon Ingram.
College Spun shared the video that the Blue Devils released titled “Summer Grind.” The feature focused around Ingram’s preparations for the upcoming season. Not only did he give a good look into the transition a basketball player makes from high school to college, but at the end of the interview, he also shows that he could be a big part of the NBA dunk contest in the future.
That is an impressive way to introduce yourself into the world of college basketball. Ingram is a part of the Blue Devils’ second-ranked 2015 recruiting class along with Luke Kennard and Derryck Thornton.
The Blue Devils open up their defense of their fifth national championship on November 13. The team hosts the Siena Bulldogs.
