Vince Young will wear Cal shirt if Texas loses game

Vince Young will go down in history as one of the greatest quarterbacks in Texas Longhorn history. While his career in the NFL is essentially over, he is still very much involved in the Texas program. Young is still so involved with the Longhorns that he is willing to bet that they will beat a pretty tough opponent early on in the season.

Young made a bet with former California player Scott Nady. The bet was that whoever’s former team loses when the two meet up on September 19 will have to wear a custom-made shirt of the other team on television.

That is a pretty hefty bet for the two former stars to make with each other.

It looks like Nady’s family already has Young’s shirt ready for him to wear. Talk about confidence.

That is especially big confidence from Nady considering the Golden Bears went 5-7 last season and don’t look to have improved much this summer.

This game is a part of a home-and-home series between the two teams. If the Longhorns are to lose, there is always 2016 for them to get revenge. Texas hosts California this season on September 19.

What do you think, Longhorn and Golden Bear fans? Who will win this game and should the two former players have made this bet?
