Auburn reveals new, yet subtle helmet changes

The Auburn Tigers aren’t ones for taking many risks when it comes to their uniforms. They haven’t ever really changed their uniforms much and they don’t seem to be starting now.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution shared a photo of the team’s helmets for the 2015 season. The color scheme didn’t change at all on them, so don’t expect an orange helmet with a giant white “AU” reminiscent of Boise State on the side for the Tigers. The change to the helmet is noticeable, but subtle as well.

See, I told you. Subtle. The Tigers don’t really need to do anything flashy with their uniforms. They just let their play do the talking.

The Tigers are ranked seventh in the country according to the preseason coaches poll and I wouldn’t expect that to vary much once the AP poll comes out on August 23.

The Tigers open the 2015 season in Atlanta when they play the Louisville Cardinals as part of the Chick-fil-A SEC/ACC Kickoff on Septembr 5.
