Ohio State remains heavily favored to repeat

|

The Ohio State Buckeyes are set to begin their national championship defense on Monday, Sept. 7 against the Virginia Tech Hokies in Blacksburg. ESPN’s College GameDay will be on the scene for the big matchup that starts off Urban Meyer’s latest run as Buckeyes head coach and it is the first step in what is expected to be a reap title run.

The fine folks at Bovada.lv have released their first set of national championship odds for the upcoming college football season and Ohio State is once again heavily favored to hoist the College Football Playoff trophy.

Alabama and TCU are next in line.

The two remaining teams that made last year’s playoff — the Oregon Ducks and Florida State Seminoles — come in with 22-to-1 and 25-to-1 odds, respectively.
