Video: Marcus Mariota responds to crying Oregon fan

It is always nice to see a celebrity recognize when one of their younger fans are upset about something. Former Oregon and current Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota did exactly that Wednesday evening when he and the Titans sent out a very special video to one very upset Oregon fan.

College Spun shared a video of Mariota responding to a young Oregon fan who cried upon learning that the team would be without the Heisman Trophy winner this season. I don’t think this kid is doing much crying this morning upon getting this personalized message from his favorite player.

Talk about a nice way to end a Wednesday night. Clyde will be more than happy to run around with a new Mariota Titans jersey. For reference, here is the video of Clyde that went viral Wednesday.

I don’t think he needs to be too upset for the Ducks’ future. Both Jeff Lockie and Vernon Adams Jr. are more than capable of leading the Oregon program. I don’t know if either of them will win the Heisman this season and it seems like a long shot, but the Ducks will be just fine.

Oregon opens the season on September 5 when they host Eastern Washington.
