4-star UCLA commit Rahyme Johnson lit USC gear on fire

If the USC/UCLA rivalry didn’t already run pretty deep, it just got a whole lot deeper. 2017 four-star prospect Rahyme Johnson out of Los Angeles committed to the Bruins back in July. He decided late Friday night that he would show just how committed he was to the program.

College Spun reported that Johnson decided he would burn his USC gear he received from while they were recruiting him. He posted a video to Twitter, but he quickly deleted it. Apparently he didn’t delete it fast enough as 247sports grabbed a screenshot of the act.

While the video may no longer exist in the social media world, news of Johnson’s act quickly spread throughout the college football world. UCLA fans responded.

It looks like Johnson is all in when it comes to the UCLA Bruins, but let’s just hope that he doesn’t do anything stupid to lose his scholarship offer, like burn a UCLA poster.

If he does go back into the recruiting world, I wouldn’t expect the Trojans to come calling his name. College football rivalries are the absolute best, aren’t they?

The two teams play each other this season on November 28 at The Coliseum.
