Florida State WR ‘disrespected’ by preseason poll

It wasn’t too long ago that the ACC media selected the Clemson Tigers to win the conference over the Florida State Seminoles this season. I believe that selection was with good reason too. The Tigers have a great quarterback with Deshaun Watson leading them and the Seminoles have struggled to find a replacement for Jameis Winston this summer.

According to College Spun, one Seminole receiver felt like the ACC media is underestimating his team this season and he feels like they will be able to do something big this year. Bobo Wilson said that he felt “disrespected” at how the ACC media ranked them this season.

Wilson has a good reason to be upset about the preseason polls. The Seminoles have lost only three games over the last three seasons and they have played in four of the last five ACC Championship games, as well as winning the last three.

The only year the Seminoles didn’t win the ACC Atlantic Division? 2011, when the Tigers won the division and the conference.

This rivalry has been cranked up for the last few seasons and it seems that the ACC media just pushed it up to a twelve this season. The Tigers will host the Seminoles on November 7.
