Okay, raise your hand if you knew that former UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel had a pretty good singing voice? Nobody? I’m there along with you, but he showed that off Saturday night when he performed at a Wild Wings Cafe in Columbia, South Carolina.
You may be thinking to yourself “If he was in Columbia, does that mean Steve Spurrier was there?” Why, yes, the Head Ball Coach did make an appearance. Actually, that was the main reason Neuheisel took the stage, in a South Carolina Gamecocks hat.
College Spun shared videos of Neuheisel up on the stage, playing guitar, and singing for Spurrier as well as about 100 other bar patrons. His voice is fairly impressive.

Neuheisel then hit us with his own rendition of Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the USA”, changing the words to better suit the long-tenured SEC football coach.

Who knew Neuheisel had such an awesome voice? Maybe once his broadcasting career is over, he will go on tour, performing at Wild Wing Cafes and Buffalo Wild Wings all over the country.
