Oregon releases 2015-16 non-conference schedule

The Oregon Ducks are one of the few power conference teams not to be participating in an early-season invitational in the 2015-16 season. While that may hurt their chances of getting into the NCAA Tournament as an At-large bid, the team feels pretty confident about their chances.

The Ducks haven’t missed the NCAA Tournament since the 2012 season and they aren’t about to let it start happening again. College Basketball Talk released the team’s non-conference schedule for the upcoming season and things seems to favor the Ducks pretty heavily.

The Ducks only play two true road games in their non-conference schedule this season as they play on the road against UNLV on December 4 and at Boise State on December 12. The team also plays Navy in Pearl Harbor on December 7 and then against Alabama in Birmingham on December 21.

The rest of the team’s schedule are home games, including the opening game against Jackson State on November 13 and what is easily their toughest non-conference game of the season in Baylor on November 16. The Ducks also have two home games in December against Big West opponents as they host UC Irvine on December 15 and Long Beach State on December 18.

The team’s full slate can be seen below.
