The Michigan Wolverines have just announced something very odd for a football team to announce. It was reported that the team’s jerseys this season will not feature the Nike swoosh logo, but it will feature the Jordan Brand “jumpman” logo.
NBA legend Michael Jordan welcomed the Wolverines to the Jordan Brand family. It is going to be an odd change, but maybe it will work out for the Wolverines.
Big House. Big plans.

I don’t understand why a brand known for making basketball apparel and sponsoring basketball teams and players would be sponsoring a football team. I understand Jordan wanting to broaden his company’s horizons, but it just doesn’t seem right that a basketball logo will appear on a football jersey.
We haven’t even seen the jerseys just yet, so maybe it will look pretty cool. I wonder if MJ is going into business with John Elway or something. That would be pretty fun.
