Steve Sarkisian taking team to see ‘Straight Outta Compton’

Straight Outta Compton is easily one of the most anticipated movies of 2015. The movie tells the story of “The World’s Most Dangerous Group” N.W.A. and how they rose to the top of the rap industry.

College football coaches are always looking for better ways to connect with their young team. What better way for a Los Angeles team’s coach to do that than to take his players to see a movie based around the city their college is in?

According to College Spun, USC head coach Steve Sarkisian is going to take his team to see the movie tonight as part of an early showing. The head coach sent out an edited version of Dr. Dre’s “Compton” album cover via Twitter.

That is an awesome way to not only connect with your teammates, but the fans from the neighborhood as well. I’m sure Sarkisian will have no problem gaining a whole heaping of new fans this season.

The Trojans open the 2015 season September 5 when they host Arkansas State.
