Urban Meyer, Buckeyes excited about post-practice snack

It’s always important to refuel your body after a hard workout. Whether you spent thirty minutes on the treadmill or you are college football player, you always need to eat something following your exercise.

The Ohio State Buckeyes and coach Urban Meyer know this all too well. USA TODAY’s For the Win shared a video of Meyer addressing his team following their practice on Tuesday, telling them to make sure they eat their snacks on their way home. He then proceeded to show off the snack, which came in a brown paper bag no less.

You guys remember playing little league, right? You go out have a roaring good time with your friends at the game and usually, you have a snack of something like orange slices and Capri-Sun following the game that one of the parents agreed to provide. Yeah, the Buckeyes’ snack pack was a little bit like that.

While the team might be just humoring Meyer, who was obviously having fun himself, I still have never seen a group of college guys go nuts over a bag of carrots, Skittles, and a juice box like they did. Absolutely classic.

I wonder what the team ate following their national championship win in January.
